Semiconductor-Grade Material Tech
Bringing semiconductor and photonics material craft into daily life
High-end materials and processes can also protect everyday safety and health.
Why we built this
Our founder has over 20 years of design experience in semiconductors and photonics. The advanced material properties and precision processes accumulated in these industries can, in fact, solve overlooked safety and health pain points in daily life.
We turn these 'invisible' technologies into visible, usable products — using materials science to make life safer and more comfortable.
Features
High-fire-resistant fiberglass → fire-safe pouch
High-fire-resistant fiberglass wraps the risk of power-bank ignition and spread, adding safety to your portable power.
Micro-etched matte → eye-friendly anti-glare film
A micro-etched (nano-etching) surface suppresses reflections and glare and reduces eye fatigue, combined with a paper-feel.
Backed by evidence
Anti-glare and eye-care claims are supported by measured data — not just marketing.
In Depth

Semiconductors are Taiwan's pride — we bring them into your day
Semiconductor manufacturing is Taiwan's pride. NovaPlus uses advanced semiconductor materials and process craft to bring these once-fab-only materials into everyday life — using materials science to solve overlooked eye-care and safety pain points.

Hydrofluoric micro-etching — a core of chip making — repurposed for your eyes
Hydrofluoric (HF) etching is a core process in nearly all chip making. We apply it to today's eye-care needs: not by spraying a haze or coating a film, but by directly altering the glass surface micro-structure to form even micron-scale texture, turning harsh 'specular reflection' into gentle 'diffuse reflection.'
- Directly alters the glass surface (not spray, not coating)
- Even micron-scale texture
- Specular → diffuse reflection, softer light

Writing × anti-glare × high clarity — the first nano-etched tempered film
Combining years of writing experience, we created a tempered glass film that offers writing feel, anti-glare and still-bright transmittance together — rivaling the display quality of Apple's nano-texture — a market first that combines the merits of a soft film (natural writing damping) and a hard film (9H scratch resistance).
It's genuinely hard to make: too matte and clarity suffers; too little haze and it fails to protect the eyes. The key is a precise balance of haze, gloss and roughness (Ra).
- Stable writing, natural damping, no slip
- Anti-glare with bright transmittance and true color
- Soft-film feel × hard-film 9H scratch resistance — still glass

Glass doesn't burn — turning chip-substrate material into a fire-safe pouch
Glass itself is non-combustible, so fiberglass (glass cloth) — glass drawn into ultra-fine fibers and woven — is heat-resistant, insulating and high-strength, and widely used in semiconductor copper-clad-laminate (CCL) substrates. We use this to make a power-bank fire-safe pouch — a barrier at the critical moment a lithium battery goes into high-temperature thermal runaway, adding a layer of safety to your portable power.
- Fiberglass is heat-resistant, non-combustible and insulating
- Blocks lithium-battery thermal runaway and spread
- Compact storage, everyday peace of mind
Applications
- Power-bank fire-safe pouch (fire-resistant storage)
- Eye-friendly anti-glare tablet film
- Paper-Feel film

FAQ
How is NovaPlus anti-glare film different from ordinary AG?
Ordinary AG is usually sprayed or coated — uneven particles, easy wear and hazing; NovaPlus uses micro-etching that directly alters the glass surface, balancing anti-glare with clarity, and stays glass so it resists scratches without wearing off.
Is the nano-etched tempered film related to Apple nano-texture?
The principle is the same — etching the glass surface micro-structure for anti-reflection. Apple nano-texture is only on high-end iPad Pro (often 1TB+) and can't be replaced; NovaPlus puts similar tech on a replaceable tempered film so ordinary iPads can upgrade too.
Does the fire-safe pouch really resist fire? Is it certified?
The pouch is made of fire-resistant materials such as fiberglass, forming a barrier during lithium-battery thermal runaway; the fiberglass products are lab-tested and certified to SGS, DIN SPEC and more.
Why can semiconductor materials be used in everyday products?
NovaPlus applies semiconductor-grade materials and processes such as HF micro-etching and fiberglass, translating high-tech materials into everyday products like eye-friendly anti-glare film and power-bank fire-safe pouches.
